Our second time in this beautiful area of Portugal and it was just as special as the first. Casa dos Fernandos is the perfect retreat from busy London life. Swimming in the morning before breakfast has been the best start to the day. Followed by a long breakfast, trips out to see some beautiful places - recomment the national park with great picnic spots overlooking the lake. Guimaraes, the beaches at Esposende & Amorosa and the Thursday market at Barcelos is fun. We had some lovely meals using the freshest produce. Thank you to Antonio and Maria for letting us spend time in this lovely house. We will miss it.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in your beautiful family home. It has been lovely to meet Maria, Antonio and Antonio's mother, you have all been so kind, and it has been very interesting to learn some of the family history. Braga is a beautiful place to visit and we can recommend parknig at the top, walking down the steps, then taking the funicular back up at Bom Jesus. We also enjoyed a drive through the national park and a quick visit to Spain. We will be recommending Casa dos Fernandos to our family and friends. Thank you.

Wonderful week spent at Casa dos Fernandos. Property exceeded our expectations. Spent most of the week enjoying the lovely pool and surrounding area. Lovely spacious villa to escape the heat outside. Ate out at Restaurante Torres, the food was good - generous portions! Overall great time here and look forward to returning!

A truly fantastic property. Owners, Antonio and Maria were lovely, so friendly, they even gave us a special wine to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Beautiful part of Portugal. Lovely villa and very hospitable hosts...The village has all the basic amenities and Cafe Christina is very welcoming and serves great food and cakes! It is also open for dinner! Braga is well worth a visit too.
